Terms and Conditions - gloot Pilates

I. Application of These Terms and Conditions (the “gloot Agreement”)

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your relationship with gloot Pilates (“gloot Pilates,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including your use of our studio(s), website, services, memberships, class packs, events, and related products. By accessing or using any part of our services, including Pilates classes, events, and sauna sessions, you agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all gloot Pilates locations and any services we provide in studio or online.

II. Arbitration Agreement and Class Action Waiver

A. Informal Dispute Resolution
gloot Pilates aims to resolve issues promptly and respectfully. Please email
info@glootpilates.com with your name, a description of the issue, and your desired resolution.

B. Arbitration Agreement
By agreeing to these Terms, all disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

C. Class Action Waiver
Disputes will be resolved individually, not on a class or collective basis. If this waiver is found unenforceable, the arbitration agreement will be void to the extent required by law, and the dispute will be resolved in court.

D. Definition of Dispute
“Dispute” includes any disagreement related to your relationship with gloot Pilates, including use of the studio, Pilates classes, sauna sessions, memberships, class packs, purchases, and services.

III. Studio Usage Policies

A. Use of Facilities by Minors
Clients under 18 must have parent or guardian consent. For group Reformer classes, clients must be at least 16 and either accompanied by a parent or guardian or have written consent on file.

B. Reservations, Charges, Classes, Sessions, and Gift Cards

  • Reservations require pre-purchased classes, sessions, or an active membership.

  • Gift cards do not expire, but become non-refundable once applied.

  • Class and session pricing may change; existing credits keep their value until they expire.

  • Unpaid balances may result in suspension of services and may be sent to collections, including additional collection-related fees.

C. Purchase Refund and Cancellation Policies

Class & Session Packages:

  • All payments are non-refundable. Single classes and sessions, class and session packages, monthly passes, and memberships are non-transferable.

Memberships:

  • Membership fees are non-refundable.

  • Commitment memberships may not be canceled until the commitment term ends.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted to info@glootpilates.com at least 5 days before the next billing date.

Membership Pauses (Recurring Memberships for Sauna and Pilates):

  • Pauses are allowed once up to 30 days during the contract cycle, due to medical or travel needs.

  • Requests must be submitted via email to info@glootpilates.com.

D. Class Attendance and Waitlists

  • There is a 5-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late or are not present when class begins, your spot may be given to a waitlisted client.

  • Treat the waitlist like a confirmed reservation: failure to remove yourself if unable to attend may result in a fee.

E. Pilates Class Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid fees.

  • Late Cancel Fee: $20

  • No-Show Fee: $25

F. Sauna Session Cancellation Policy

  • Cancel at least 12 hours before session to avoid fees.

  • Late Cancel Fee: $15

  • No-Show Fee: $20

G. Instructor Schedule Changes
Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice. Please visit our class schedule for updates.

H. Pricing
Pricing is subject to change based on demand.

IV. Payment and Expiration

A. Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cash is not accepted. Monthly memberships renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with these Terms.

B. Class and Session Expirations
Class and sauna packages have expiration dates, which are clearly stated at the time of purchase. One month is defined as 30 consecutive calendar days.

V. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the gloot Pilates website and branding are owned by gloot Pilates. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

VI. Additional Studio Policies

A. Waiver Requirements
Participation may require signing a liability waiver before your first class or sauna session.

B. Commitment Membership Agreement
3-month and 6-month memberships are subject to a separate membership agreement. If there is any conflict, the membership agreement controls.

C. Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

D. Schedule Changes and Closures
Classes and services may be modified or canceled due to emergencies, power outages, repairs, or instructor illness.

VII. Privacy Compliance

gloot Pilates complies with all relevant state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). California residents have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information.

  • Request disclosure of the personal data we collect and share.

  • Opt out of the sale of personal information. Please note gloot Pilates does not sell personal data.
